Inside Touch
There are some people who unfortunately have the mistaken notion that only the "rich" realize the importance of interior design in our lives. Significant to note that the interiors of our homes, our workplaces, the shopping malls and other structures we need for numerous intentions, deeply influence our behavior to a significant extent.
I believe interior design creates an experience for people in their respective environment.
One that likewise influences feelings and moods resulting from the interiors' function and appearance.

Picture this: you enter a bag or a shoe store where the merchandise are in disarray nary an order in display or arranged with a common theme. Lighting is white fluorescent bulbs crudely mounted at the center of the ceiling, walls and ceiling paint treatments are dull browns or charcoal, with drab vinyl-covered flooring. Wouldn't you feel like just stepping out and leaving?
Again, shut your eyes and visualize soft illuminescent flood-lit powdery colored walls with wall-mounted glass shelves. Displays of pairs of shoes matched with coordinated leather bags, spotlighted with rich yellow incandescent lighting, allowing the reflection of the glossy finish of that camel-colored evening bag to catch your eye, waltzing on clean floors of walnut-finished wooden planks and taking time out to sit on soft-cushioned ottomans while fitting on a pair of stilettos or glancing at a corner-mounted full-length mirror to ponder a handbag slung on one's shoulder. This scenario does make a big difference, right?

This is what interior design is really all about. It doesn't necessarily mean spending a fortune on interior treatments, furnishing or hardware.
Designing interiors can simply be a matter of putting all the right ingredients together in place,
let's call it 'tasteful coordination'.
Your personal interiors may actually be reflective of your lifestyle.
Please do drop by for some interior design tips and feel free to ask any questions about your design dillema or decorating problems. I'll be more than happy to share with all what i uniquely call "my inside touch".
My passion for Interior Design began when our family moved to our house outside a military camp when my father retired from the Armed forces. I had just finished high school and had my own bedroom since my older brother left to join the US Navy.
A tiny bedroom for one thay was to be my own nest, a private retreat.
Barely having about 12 square meters to deal with, I had laid out my bedroom to function as both my sleeping quarters and as a work station for homework tasks while I was studying interior design at the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID) at Makati.

Hi Ramon! I love what you have to say about interior design at its best. You must have helped me with my house over 3 or 4 renovation projects and I love the results each and every time we're done! No stress, no worries, we're always within the budget, and we finish on time! Thanks!
